HOWDY Y’ALL, I’M COURTNEY
I am licensed in Texas, Colorado, West Virginia & Massachusetts & I can help you overcome your anxiety.
I am so glad you are here. I know taking that first step in seeking therapy is hard. I’ll even tell you a LITTLE secret… it’s hard for me too, & yes, I see a therapist, too!
Intrusive thoughts can be scary and overwhelming to deal with. You may often feel that people don’t understand what you’re going through or you might be afraid of what someone might think about what you’re experiencing.
Together, in therapy, we will utilize methods that are backed by research & science to help you obtain the relief you need from the anxiety and unhealthy behaviors that have plagued you for a long time.
My personal experience with debilitating anxiety and my professional experience as an anxiety specialist, will help you feel validated & give you a sense of empowerment on your path to recovery. I understand the struggle and want you to know this is a safe, judgement free zone for you to share your experiences.
Tired of feeling like you are going crazy or losing your mind? Reach out, let’s see if we would be a good fit to work together.

About Courtney…
What’s My Style?
As a therapist, I show up as myself, a person, with lived and professional experience. I love wearing leggings and being my natural self, but don’t get me wrong, I am still professional. I want you to show up as yourself and feel comfortable in my virtual office setting.
I’m a bit of a fire-cracker and can be blunt (but in a gentle way). That’s because I know how sneaky OCD can be!
In therapy with me, you will find out who you are & utilize your strengths to overcome your mental health struggles.
You are in the drivers seat, and I am hear to guide you through your process. You lead the way.
The Professional Stuff…
I’m an LCSW therapist trained in the evidence-based treatments for OCD, Anxiety, BFRBs, Tics, and PTSD/Trauma, including Exposure and Response Prevention, Inference Based CBT, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Habit Reversal Training, The ComB model, Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT), Prolonged Exposure therapy, & Cognitive Processing Therapy.
I completed my graduate internship with Dr. Patrick McGrath at Alexian Brothers Hospital, one of the most well-respected training facilities in the country for training in CBT and ERP. I’m also trained in Prolonged Exposure therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy for clients struggling with various forms of trauma.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults of all ages to provide care for OCD, Phobias, Social Anxiety, Generalized Anxiety, BFRB's and Tics, having treated hundreds of patients in a variety of settings.
Additionally, I have lived experience of someone who knows what it’s like to struggle with OCD and anxiety. I understand the distress, discomfort, and shame associated with the different subtypes of OCD. With my personal and professional experience and training, I can empathize with clients throughout their journey to recovery.
I have a passion for helping those overcome their anxiety and mental health struggles. While you work with me, I will use an integrative approach, to provide a unique experience to meet clients where they are at.

Why Lotus Resilience Therapy?
The lotus flower symbolizes rising from a dark place into beauty, rebirth, and perseverance. The roots of the flower grow in murky, dark water, and the next day the lotus turns into a beautiful, pure, untainted flower.
The lotus flower is pretty badass. Despite the environment it lives in, the lotus flower thrives, and rises above all difficult & muddy waters.
In a lot of ways, this is how I view our growth as people. Through challenging times, we can find prosperity and reconnect with our roots in a way that makes us proud of ourselves.
Stop letting your thoughts, fears, and worries prevent you from turning into the beautiful, unique, and sparkling flower that you are.

Fun Facts. Credentials. Education.
FUN FACTS
Chi-Town girl residing in Texas but my heart is in Colorado. I love music, nature, and art. Eminem is my favorite person on this planet, next to my husband, stepson, and niece. I enjoy listening to podcasts, especially the Crime Junkies Podcast (Be weird, Be Rude, & Stay Alive). I fall asleep watching crime shows. My dogs are my world. Hiking and being one with nature is so important to me. I am still a bit of a kid at heart because I love Winnie the Pooh. When I am not being a therapist, (which is hard to do), I enjoy time being with my family, reading, traveling, or dancing.
